The Miyoo Mini Plus offers excellent value for money. The D-pad is nice and smooth, as are the other buttons. Onion OS, in particular, stands out for its ease of use.
The only drawback I’ve encountered so far is that GBA games don’t always run very smoothly. Fortunately, there’s a whole Onion OS community offering tips on how to sort out these sorts of issues.

The device works perfectly well, and the support from RetroGear was also excellent. But I find I still need to get used to holding the Miyoo Mini Plus. My hands aren’t particularly large, but you end up looking for a comfortable way to hold it, and that’s hard to find. If I’d known this, I might have gone for the horizontal version after all.

A brilliant device for emulating 8-, 16- and 32-bit games; installing additional emulators is easy via Wi-Fi (which I don’t even need to set up) and it also comes with a USB stick so you can use your SD card. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with an adapter, just a short USB cable; luckily, it has the same connector as my tablet, which works perfectly well for this too. I’m really pleased with it.
