Is MuOS necessary, or can I manage with the standard system?
Both work perfectly well. The standard system is ready to use straight away; MuOS mainly offers faster navigation, better organisation and handy quality-of-life features such as automatic save states.

Up to what system will the performance run smoothly?
Everything up to and including PS1 is perfectly playable. For older 2D systems, it’s actually overkill; there, you’ll mainly benefit from the smooth scaling and the sharp display.

Does the 3:2 screen work with all systems?
For handheld classics, 3:2 is ideal. For 4:3 systems, you can choose between pixel-perfect display (with small black bars) or full-screen with minimal stretching.

What about storage and expansion?
