Not really. It is simply too compact for that and the battery isn't really geared for that either. This feels much more like a handheld that you pick up because it's so fun and portable.

Is the swivelling screen mainly a gimmick?
No, not quite. Of course, it is mostly a unique design element, but that is precisely what makes this handheld so much fun. It is not the most practical handheld ever, but it is one with a lot of character.

Is this a good choice if I mainly want to play retro?
Yes, it fits right in. Android gives you a lot of freedom, but the device feels most logical as a compact retro handheld.
